This is number four in my quest to bring you caches close to cricket grounds. Buckfastleigh Cricket Club play their matches here in the season and it is known to be a very picturesque place to play this wonderful sport. Bovey Tracey Cricket Club’s 4th XI play their home matches here on a Saturday during the cricket season. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT AS THE LOG BOOK NEEDS TO BE SIGNED.
For those of you who who do not follow or understand cricket, here is a brief explanation of why I have called this cache Maiden Over – Chudleigh. An 'over' is a set of six balls bowled to the batsmen at the opposite end of the pitch. If no runs are scored in a particular over, that is said to be a Maiden over.
