Number 336 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box.
The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.
This is a simple offset cache, large enough for your swapsies and trackables. Please make sure the container is tightly closed and replaced as you found it. The phone box is up for adoption if the local community can find a use for it - come and find this cache while it's still a Fine Pair!
You can park close to the given co-ordinates, and use information there to solve the following to find the cache:
At the post box -
First phone number, 4th digit = A
Post Box number PO B x xxx
Below the Post Box number is a code: CP C x
At the phone box, information poster -
Customer Service Post Code is LL D x xxx
In the blue and white rectangle, add digits 5 and 6 of the number = E
The insert headed "This phone is at" - (01243) mnopqr n-(q+r) = F
Calculate the final co-ordinates - N50 51.ABC W000 44.DEF
Checksum of all digits in the final co-ordinates is 46.
Beware nettles and muggles at the final location. You need only remove the lid of the container, which is fixed in place.
