31 Days of HALLOWEEN
This is the THIRTY FIRST cache in a series of 31 caches, one for each day in October, the Halloween month! Halloween is finally here, and which kind of cache is more appropriate for Halloween, but a night cache. The cache is not at the posted coordinates, you will need to start at this location after the sun has set with a flashlight in hand. Use your flashlight to spot the fire tacks, and then follow them through the woods to the cache. I wanted to fill the cache with candy, but no food goes into caches. So, you will find some other Tricks and Treats inside.
The cache is along the Missouri Valley Millennium Legacy Trail in Sertoma Park near the Dakota Zoo. Parking is available between the sand volleyball courts and horseshoe facilities at Sertoma Park. Also note you may get to hear some interesting sounds from the animals at the zoo at night……hope they don’t cause you too much freight ;)
