Geocache Description:

SK:

Nájdi to miesto.

legenda:

Pre výpočet použi nasledovný model.:

  • Zem je elipsoid WGS 84, kde: a= 6378137,0000; b= 6356752,3142 [m]
  • Jedna otáčka Zeme okolo svojej osi trvá :24 hodín (1 slnečný deň), rýchlosť rotácie je konštantná
  • Zanedbávame:  nadmorskú výšku,  nutáciu a precesiu Zemskej osi,  ohyb svetla pri prechode atmosférou, sklon tieňa nad obzorom, gravitácie iných nebeských telies, slapové deformácie plôch Zeme, priestupný/nepriestupný rok

EN:

Some person (182/100 [cm / kg]) went for hike. Just before the sunset, he laid down with his chin touching the ground and began to watch. At the moment when sun disappeared completely behind the horizon, he started the stopwatch. Then he stood up and began to observe the sunset again. When the Sun was again completely hidden behind the horizon 🌄 he stopped the stopwatch. It was showing 11.280177 seconds.

It was so much fun that he stayed there overnight and next day he built a sun watch on this place. The local sun time at noon on that day was delayed by 32 minutes and 18.167 seconds against the clock time.

This text was also written at the same day. Find the place.

The legend:

Use the following for calculation:

  • The earth is an ellipsoid WGS 84 where: a = 6378137,0000; b = 6356752,3142 [m]
  • One turn of the earth around its axis takes: 24 hours (1 sun time day), the speed of rotation is constant
  • We neglect: the altitude, nutation and precession of the Earth's axis, light bending due to passage through the atmosphere, the slope of the shadow over the horizon, the gravitation of other celestial bodies, the tidal deformation of the Earth's surface, leap/normal year.
  • We take in consideration: Analema, a non-circular trajectory of Earth around the Sun, Central European day light saving time at the time of observation. The time equation is taken from SunCalc
  • Note: The eyes are 10cm below the top of the head and the chin is 12cm below the eyes. Use these numbers for calculations, and use precision with at least 6 significant decimal places for the best result.
