All of the geocaches located within the park are owned and maintained by Lake Metigoshe State Park. Please know that the state park entrance fee is required to visit our caches. Our entrance fees are $7/vehicle/day or $35 for an annual pass. Parking while visiting this cache is located near the entrance/exit of the Washegum campground loop.
This cache is near the playground area located between the Main O' Moonshine and Washegum loops. This area provides a great space to get a game going, have a picnic or simply enjoy the playground. Also located near the area is the park's amphitheater where various programs take place on the weekends from mid-May through Labor Day weekend. Please keep in mind that depending upon how many people are utilizing the area, some stealth may be required.
