31 Days of HALLOWEEN
This is the eight cache in a series of 31 caches, one for each day in October, the Halloween month. Marked as the carriers of death, rats spread the black plague.
The cache is along the Missouri Valley Millennium Legacy Trail, in the Keelboat Park. The Keelboat Park is adjacent to the Missouri River. The outdoor self-guided tour lists historical facts about the area during the time of Lewis and Clark's adventure. A large Thunderbird sculpture and a 55-foot full-scale replica keelboat similar to the one used by Lewis and Clark also decorate the park along the walking trail. Bring your own writer to sign the log as there is no room for one in the cache container.
