Geocache Description:

The war memorial at Six Mile Bottom is situated on the grass verge between the playing field and the A1304 London to Newmarket Road. It was unveiled in 1924. The memorial is a rough hewn granite Latin cross carved with a sword motif, on a rounded plinth on a square granite base all within a low granite post and chain fence. Its closeness to the road and the effect of moisture from overhanging trees nearby has made the lead lettering very light-coloured and almost unreadable from a distance, but close inspection should be fine. In 2003 the memorial was demolished by a car but was re-constructed at the same place.

The cache is a customised magnetic micro, but not at the posted co-ordinates. To find the cache, answer these questions concerning surnames and substitute for A-F:

(i) How many BRASNETT's are commemorated on the war memorial? Answer = A

(ii) The number of letters in surname 4 in column 1 = B

(iii) The number of letters in surname 8 in column 1 = C

(iv) The number of letters in surname 5 in column 2 = D

(v) The number of letters in surname 6 in column 1 = E

(vi) The number of letters in surname 4 in column 2 = F

The cache is at: N52 11.ABC E000 18.DEF

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Just-us-Two know first at justustwo1013@gmail.com so they can keep track of the memorial numbers and names to avoid any duplication.
