Úvodní souřadnice této mysterky Vás zavedou na rozcestí, odkud vede lesní pěšina protínající místo bývalého skokanského můstku nad obcí Pilínkov.
Historie můstku se začala psát roku 1947. Jeho architektem byl Karel Jarolímek, který je mimo jiné autorem také prvního skokanského můstku na Ještědském hřebeni - na Pláních (rok 1925). Už na konci 50.let byla provedena jeho rekonstrukce (kritický bod byl posunut na hranici 55 metrů) a u příležitosti znovuotevření byl uspořádán závod ve skoku prostém a sdruženém (běžecká část se odehrávala na Pláních). Celé toto klání shlédlo na 3 tis. diváků.
V průběhu 60.let byl skok na lyžích velmi populární a pro další rozvoj nebyl relativně malý můstek U lomu (jak se mu též říkalo) příliš perspektivní. V roce 1967 byl slavnostně otevřen skokanský areál pod Ještědem a Pilínkovský můstek tím ztratil na významu. V roce 1969 byl tedy z bezpečnostních důvodů zbourán. Takto neslavně skončilo sportoviště, které hostilo mnohé regionální i celostátní závody. Doskočiště se poté stalo atraktivním terénem pro sjezdaře a probíhal tu i trénink žáků sportovní lyžařské základny TJ Ještěd. Dnes už i dopad můstku pohltila příroda.
Pokud si nepřijdete jen pro další bod a zapátráte po odrazové hraně, nejspíš budete úspěšní (cca 15-25m od kešky). A také si lze všimnout malé mýtiny na dojezdovém protisvahu. Tam ale není třeba chodit, navíc buben je opravdu prudký. Jinak ale těžko uvěříte, že tu před necelými 60 lety bývalo celkem živo.
No a jak ke kešce? Pokud trošku zapátráte, zjistíte, kam se pro ní od úvodních souřadnic vydat. Při cestě respektujte prosím ohraničené pozemky. I neoplocené louky jsou v soukromém vlastnictví. Auto doporučuji zanechat na vyznačených souřadnicích. Zespodu je přístup na kole obtížný.

The initial coordinates of this mystery cache will lead you to a crossroads, from where a forest path leads through the site of the former ski jump above the village of Pilínkov.
The history of this ski jump began in 1947. Its architect was Karel Jarolímek, who is also the author of the first ski jump on the Ještěd ridge - on Plane (1925). Already at the end of the 1950s, it was reconstructed (the critical point was moved to 55 metres) and on the occasion of its reopening, a competition in the simple and combined jump was organised (the cross-country part took place on Plane). The whole event was watched by 3 thousand spectators.
During the 1960s ski jumping was very popular and the relatively small hill U lomu (as it was also called) was not very promising for further development. In 1967 the ski jumping area under Ještěd was inaugurated and the Pilínkov hill lost its importance. In 1969 it was demolished for safety reasons. This was the inglorious end of a sports venue that hosted many regional and national competitions. The ski jumping hill then became an attractive terrain for downhill skiers and the training of the pupils of the TJ Ještěd sports ski base took place here. Today, even the impact of the hill has been absorbed by nature.
If you don't come just for another point and look for remains, you will probably be successful (about 15-25m from the cache). Also, you may notice a small clearing on the finish slope. No need to walk there though, plus the hill is really steep. Otherwise, though, it's hard to believe it used to be pretty lively here less than 60 years ago.
Well, how to get to the cache? If you do a little research, you'll find out where to go to get it from the initial coordinates. Please respect the land boundaries as you go. Even the unfenced meadows are privately owned. I recommend leaving your car at the marked coordinates.
