With our local Mega event the WINTER GEOLYMPIX : ASHRIDGE 2018 (GC75FTF) just 9 days away (from this event) I thought it might be fun to come somewhere in keeping with Winter Sports, so I welcome you to join me at the Lodge, here at the Hemel Hempstead Snow Centre for the 130th of an ongoing series of mid-monthly-ish, mid-week-ish regular BBH events which are held at various locations, handy for natives of the three counties to talk caching, plan expeditions, swap TBs/geocoins and so on.
With lots of new caches being published for the event, tonight could be a great opportunity to plan your visit to the Mega, compare notes with fellow cachers, maybe arrange to car pool etc etc.
I'm hoping Simply Paul will be able to attend tonight and hopefully answer any last minute questions that you may have, accept any offers of help on the day etc

The Lodge is described as an Alpine style Bar and Kitchen which overlooks the snowy slopes of the snow centre. For those who want to experience the cold fresh air of the slopes, there is an outdoor viewing platform, but you can stay inside in comfort too.
The Lodge is situated on the second floor of the Snow Centre (up the stairs on the right as you enter) and I hope that they will have reserved the area at the far end of the bar for us, close to the fireplace.

The venue welcomes well behaved mini-cachers, but I'm sorry Dogs are not allowed.
