You might want to pack lunch and bring a camera. It's a 1.5 mile hike in and a 1.5 mile hike out. This multi-cache starts in a remote campsite on the North Country Trail. Stages 3-5 are in a pasture so watch for cows. Feel free to pack a tent and stay awhile. On this section of the North Country Trail, the path is a well mowed access trail on US Army Corps of Engineers land. When you get to the fork in the trail, make sure you follow the NCT trail signs to the right. The coordinates of the fork are N47.13402, W98.044341. Hunting is allowed to wear orange in the fall.
The purpose of this cache is to highlight what trail volunteers do. Each stage of the cache takes you to something that trail volunteers maintain. Have fun and enjoy the scenery. Leave your pack at the picnic table in the campsite while you cache! All stages are less than 1/8th of a mile from the starting coordinates.
