Geocache Description:

2018 Wisconsin Geocaching Association Fall Picnic

The cache was placed for the 2018 WGA Fall Picnic.

Cache is NOT at post coordinates. You will need to find the coordinates that correspond to the series of caches placed along the Merrimac Preserve Trails (MPT) which encompasses "Carbon Cycle and Habitat Diversity," "Eagle Scout Nature", "Ice Age", and "Oak Savannah" Trails. You must find all the caches in the W&P series to complete the corrected coordinates for this final.

I would suggest starting at #1 and completing in numerical order but in no way is that the only way to do this series. Most of the trail is grass covered and adequately mowed. Some of the tall prairie grass will be above your head in places and there are plenty of viewing kiosks along the trails. Enjoy the hike.
