Geocache Description:

This cache is one of eight leaf themed caches that were published on the morning of 9/22 for the CCLP's Leaf Olympics. Each cache page contains either fun leaf facts, a leaf anecdote from a member of the CCLP, or a brief history of the cache's location. Prospective prize winners will be required to find all eight caches, procure the secret letter contained within, and spell an event themed word in order to win a spin on the CCLP's fantastical Prize Wheel...Wheel...Wheel!!!

This bridge has had a cache on it since 2009. It was one of the first ones the CCLP ever found and was owned at the time by the Grand and Golden Firefly Olympic co-champion Qridge. We had our first A-Ha! geocaching moment here in 2011. We searched and searched for the cache, which was a magnetic keyholder under the handrail at the middle of the bridge, but could find nothing. As far as Mr. Crunchy understood terrain ratings at the time, he was pretty sure he did not need to go under the bridge, but did anyway out of desperation. After extended searching beneath the bridge, 4G called out to him from above asking if he had seen it yet. Mr, Crunchy looked up and right at waist level of 4G who was framing it perfectly, sat the cache. A huge smile came over his face, A-Ha! went off in his head, and he blurted out the magic words....Got it!!! The CCLP adopted the cache and now recycled the spot for Olympic purposes.
