Geocache Description:

Come celebrate the Dog Days of Summer
with the
Southern Arizona Geocachers (SAG)
on
Saturday the 22nd of September
from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Once again we will be cleaning our section of the Alamo Wash starting at the Northern end of the wash. The meeting spot is at the Ross (old Safeway) Parking lot (SE corner of Grant Road and Craycroft Road). Just look for a bunch of folks hanging around near the wash.

The average temperatures for this date range from 66°F to 96°F

Trash bags and water will be provided and we have a few trash pickers. You may want to bring a pair of leather or gardening gloves, sunscreen, hat, bug spray, waders, rain boots, umbrellas, snacks, and any other things you might need.

CITO History: On March 25, 2006 geocachers from all over Southern Arizona met for the first time to take on the duties of cleaning the Grant Road to Pima Street section of the Alamo Wash and have done an excellent job at keeping it clean. We were officially recognized on September 9, 2006 through Tucson Clean and Beautiful as having adopted the wash and a sign was erected to let the public know.

We look forward to seeing you at 8:00 a.m.
on the 22nd!

Those attending will earn the 2018 Fall CITO Souvenir.
