Geocache Description:

This is not the first geocache in Franklin, but it is the first geocache I have placed.

A nice small quiet surburban space literally a stone's through away from our front door.  From this point wonderful sunset views can be gained, if the clouds are just right.  Trees have grown considerably since moving into the neighbourhood, there were none about when we first moved in.  Houses were scarce then too, but the foundations for this park were well and truly here.

The geofamily have camped, bbq'd, picniced, played cricket, thrown frisbees, ridden pushies and scooters here, even downed a few cold ones, pretty much most things you would do in a park.  We've also lost tent pegs, tennis balls, a frisbee and a touch football as well.  Now we have geocached here too.

A local cat likes to warm itself in the sun close to GZ.  No idea where it calls home, but The Matetrix has named it 'Ginger'.  Ginger is a friendly moggie, so if you are inclined, feel free to give it a good scratch.

GZ is surrounded by muggle homes, so stealth is required, especially during the day.  There is plenty of street parking either side of the park and the local school is far enough away not to be an issue, although some still may want to take it's location into consideration.

Room only for the log (that waterproof type paper), so please bring your own pen. FTF: Tankengine, well done!
