PLEASE READ & NOTE: This is one of the more difficult sections of the Holne Hike and care should be taken. It is NOT suitable for young children. Please follow the directions shown below in blue.
A family friendly series of 34 caches, plus 3 bonus caches, taking you on a circular hike of about 7 miles in length. There are reasonable paths most of the way, although there are 2 much more difficult sections. Although I describe this as family friendly it is NOT suitable for buggies or for very young children. It is also very undulating with several climbs and descents.
Although only about 7 miles in length this is very much a full day's hike, although it is easy to split it into 2 (or more) easier chunks. It will take you through a wide variety of terrains and includes a wide variety of caches, including several novelty ones. All caches are placed "to be found" and hints are given where necessary.
For each bonus cache only four pieces of information are required and each is duplicated in a second cache. The calculations are very easy.
As it is a family friendly series there are several largish caches, so please do come with some decent swag to allow your children to trade. Most caches are large enough to allow trackables to be placed.

This is one of the more difficult tracks to follow. Turn left at the given waypoint and follow the gully downhill. A new path seems to be appearing just to the right of the trees through the bracken. The path widens and gradually turns to the right follow this path to the cache. There is a difficult gully to cross just before the cache.
Please do NOT leave sweets in any cache.
