Geocache Description:

I would suggest that Dartmoor is one of the few places, certainly within the Southwest, where despite the millions of pounds/dollars that have gone into the GPS technology that facilitates this wonderful hobby, that it is still important to have a good working understanding of using a map and compass. As many of the caches on the open moorland part of Dartmoor National Park suggest it is important to have a map and compass as back up, and all that go caching to these remote places 'should' have a knowledge of how to use them.

This cache takes that to the next level, requiring you to demonstrate these skills at a basic level in order to find the final to this cache.

At the posted coordinates you will find a small tupperware container, that inside has a compass and the bearing that you will need to follow to find the cache. I suggest taking the compass with you, replacing it afterwards, to help you on that bearing until you find the match to the hint.

When you are finished could you 'reset' the compass to north (000°) for the next cacher.
