Geocache Description:

Lest we forget. Placed in the year of the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1.  The memorial itself was unveiled in 1920 to commemorate the local men who lost their lives in World War 1.  Four further names were added after World War 2.

There is limited parking in the village.  The actual cache is a short walk away from the memorial.

At the memorial you will need to extract some information to guide you to the cache.

Once you have found the cache I recommend a visit to the nearby church and bell tower.

If the access looks difficult - look for a gate

The cache is to be found at N 54° 45.ABC W 002° 41.DEC

A=the number of letters in first name of first person on the WW1 list

B= number of surnames on the WW1 list beginning with the letter C

C= How many letters are there in Thomas Frederick's surname (RAF WW2 list)?

D=How many letters in Pte Ferguson’s first name?(WW1)

E= How many women are named on the WW2 list?

Check sum (counting C twice) =23

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Just-us-Two know first at justustwo1013@gmail.com so they can keep track of the memorial numbers and names to avoid any duplication.
