A bison has escaped from Wind Cave NP and you can now venture out to see it. This geo art is located in the Southern Black Hills near the Argyle area. It is the second geo art series located in the Black Hills of South Dakota. You will find a lot more than just park and grabs, although you may encounter a few of them, when doing this art series. All the caches will either be puzzles or challenges. There is a great variety in puzzle types, challenges, cache sizes and hides, terrain and scenery, and difficulties in this art. All of the hides are located along or near Forest roads, both graveled and native surface. The roads can be traveled by a high clearance SUV as there are a few rocky areas along with waterbars and other rough areas. Four wheel drive will not be necessary unless conditions are wet. The longest hike to a cache is about 800 feet, and most are much shorter.
So sharpen up your pencils, put your thinking cap on, and get to work. Once you hit the field have fun and enjoy the beautiful Black Hills.
