Greetings! My name is Logan. My Mom also calls me Logit & that's how I got my nickname Peavey, PV for short. My brother is Dean but we call him Beany a lot. We like nicknames. Maybe you can share the meaning behind your caching name.
This event will start at 2pm so please plan ahead for paddling time from the boat launch to the island. I would easily give 1 hour from the Fundy public boat launch to this island, maybe longer. The park boat launch might be a 30 minute paddle to the island. We will start at 2pm and wait until 2:30pm for everyone to arrive. During that time you may introduce yourself, sign the log & trade TB's. At 2:30pm we will have a group photo and depart on our paddle to explore this side of the lake.
We often see Bald Eagles, Loons, Great Blue Herons, Cormorants, Canadian Geese, Mallard Ducks, Painted Sun Turtles & various snakes. On rare occasions we see Ospreys, Beavers, Otters, Snapping Turtles, Swans & Wood Ducks. Seeing the Beavers are more common at night along with Deer & Raccoons.
I am hoping you will bring kids with you. I am 6 and starting first grade in the Fall. I hope you can make it to my event, see you later.
