This is a 2 stage multi cache with plenty of free parking nearby. Go to the memorial to get the numbers for the final which is a short walk or drive away.
The cache is a small clip lock contains a log so please bring your own pen.
Sandhutton War Memorial is situated at the entrance to St Leonards Church Sandhutton It is a 5m high celtic cross surmounted on a single plinth made of local stone and a carved slate plague with the names and rank of the Six local Hero’s who gave their lives in the Great War WW1 1914 ~ 1919
The name of the single hero from WWII 1939 -1945 was added later.
The cache is hidden at N54 13.ABC W001 24.DEF
A = William’s surname +1
B = The second Hero’s first Christian name – his surname
C = The fifth surname + the sixth Christian name
D = The number of letters in the Sixth surname – the number of letters in fifth surname
E = Number of letters in the middle name of the Fourth Hero
F = The number of Hero’s from the 1939 ~ 1945 WW1
Checksum = 34
