The war memorial in Stetchworth is a stone fleury cross, with the names of the fallen on each of four sides of the base in relief and painted black. There is a carved panel on each side of the cross, a thistle in trefoil on the north side, a rose in trefoil on the east side, a shamrock in trefoil on the south side, and a leek in trefoil on the west side. It is set on a village green at the junction of High Street with Church Lane.
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Just-us-Two know first at justustwo1013@gmail.com so they can keep track of the memorial numbers and names to avoid any duplication.
