Salas ezers atrodas Krimuldas novadā, Lēdurgas pagasta administratīvajā teritorijā. Vidējais dziļums ir 1.5 metri, bet maksimālais dziļums - 2.7 metri. Ezera platība ir 20.3 hektāri un tajā, šķiet, nav nevienas salas, lai gan nosaukums liek domāt, ka vienai būtu jābūt.
Internetā atrodams visai maz informācijas par ezeru, vien tas, ka ezera krasts ir pieejams no A puses un tajā dzīvo asari. No pieredzes zināms, ka par šiem diviem faktiem varētu pastrīdēties.
Taču internetā nav ne vārda par to, ka ezers izskatās fantastiski un tieši tāpēc arī pie tā izvietojām slēpni. Vasarā (un citos gadalaikos, ja netraucē aukstums) netālu no slēpņa var arī nopeldēties, pie peldvietas ir improvizēta ugunskura vieta, dažreiz arī kas līdzīgs soliņam.
Auto variet atstāt norādītajās koordinātās (N 57° 16.510 E 024° 49.230), kur arī ir takas sākums.
Kā jau norādīts, piekļūsana slēpnim nebūs viegla. Var noderēt kāpšanas ekipējums vai kāds cits palīglīdzeklis, taču ir iespējams arī iztikt bez tā.

Lake Salas is located in the Krimulda district, in the administrative territory of the Ledurgas parish. The average depth is 1.5 meters, but the maximum depth is 2.7 meters. However, there is no word on the internet that the lake looks fantastic, and that's why we placed a cache there. In summer (and in other seasons, if you like cold water) near the cache you can also swim, an improvised campfire site, sometimes something similar to a bench, is located at the beach.
