Betonnen militaire constructie van geallieerde makelij. Vermoedelijk is dit het restant van een veel grotere constructie, met een dak uit gewapend beton dat op stalen rails was gegoten.
Volgens militaire stafkaarten was hier een terminus gevestigd voor smalsporen die richting zuidelijke salient liepen. Vermoedelijk diende deze constructie als bescherming voor machinerie en personeel, aangezien dit gebied vaak zwaar beschoten werd. Een andere mogelijkheid is dat de bunker is opgetrokken in functie van het spoorweggeschut (en de bemanning die dit bediende), dat vlakbij deze post stond opgesteld zoals te zien op een luchtfoto van 31 juli 1918.

Selon les cartes du personnel militaire, un terminus a été établi pour les voies à voie étroite qui se dirigeaient vers le saillant sud. On peut supposer que cette construction a servi de protection pour les machines et le personnel, car cette zone était souvent très bombardée. Une autre possibilité est que le bunker a été érigé en fonction des canons de chemin de fer (et de l'équipage qui l'a opéré), qui était situé près de ce poste, comme on peut le voir sur une photographie aérienne du 31 juillet 1918.

Concrete military construction of Allied manufacture. Presumably this is the remainder of a much larger construction, with a roof of reinforced concrete that was cast on steel rails.
According to military staff maps, a terminus was established for narrow-gauge tracks that ran towards southern salient. Presumably this construction served as protection for machinery and personnel, as this area was often heavily shelled. Another possibility is that the bunker has been erected in function of the railway guns (and the crew that operated this), which was located near this post as seen on an aerial photograph of July 31, 1918.
