Built in 1866 it was originally going to be called Rogiet , after the village the station is placed.
The line was very important connection for goods from West Wales ports and coal to the rest off the uk.
The cache is placed where the sidings and yards used to stand, now slowly reclaimed by nature.
Recommend a walk over the Bridge to view station from above .
