This is my 100th cache placed, so I needed it to be really special.
Yes. T5/D5. Albeit, an Urban D5/T5. Not as hard as the D5/T5's you get out in rural areas. However, this is the hardest cache I have ever placed, and as the title suggests, it would do you well to utilize street view (and be a little lucky) and have a large amount of patience and dedication. The difficulty is not only for the puzzle, but for the cache itself as well. This cache is not at the posted coordinates and they have nothing to do with the puzzle. This is NOT my typical cache and it is NOT in its typical location. On location, you may need a TOTT in order to extend your reach. A TOTT is recommended, but not required. Keep in mind that a TOTT may compromise your stealth.
Here is the puzzle: using the picture attached, locate the spot at which it was taken. This is where you will find the cache. The picture, taken in the 1930s, portrays a building that is still here and looks pretty much the same. Even the palm trees are still here (although they are much bigger now). This cache is within 2 miles of the posted coordinates, and the geochecker will accept solutions up to 30 feet away and redirect you to the final coords, so don't worry about getting the exact coords of the photographer. However, people are still not having great luck with the geochecker. If you contact me with the location you have surmised, I will be sure to confirm or deny the location and point you in the right direction toward the correct location if you so desire.
