Your favourite tool for picking up rubbish :-)

Be sure to wear some sturdy footwear and long pants

Hi Vis Vest

Garbage bags will be supplied along with a couple of Utes, to take the haul away and a trailer (if needed)

There will be tea, coffee and cordial supplied for the happy helpers attending.

CITO Week April 21st to April 29th

Cache In Trash Out^® is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community. Since 2002, geocachers around the world have been dedicated to improving parks and other cache-friendly places. Through these volunteer efforts, we help preserve the natural beauty of our outdoor resources!

For the past 13 years, geocachers around the world have celebrated International Cache In Trash Out weekend annually by hosting and participating in Cache In Trash Out Events in their local area. This year, we're extending the CITO celebration to two entire weeks. CITO Week Events might be focused on litter clean-up, removal of invasive species, revegetation efforts or building trails. Together, we make an enormous positive impact. Did we mention that we also have a bit of fun while we're at it?

CITO on every hunt

Cache In Trash Out doesn't just happen twice a year. It can easily happen on every geocache adventure. Take a trash bag along with you on your walks in the woods and pick up the occasional piece of trash you see on the trail. Even this small act can make a huge difference.

 Keep Victoria Beautiful Adopt a Roadside program aims to reduce litter on Victoria's roadsides to stop pollutants from entering local waterways, improves the quality of vegetation, and prevents soil degradation and erosion. It also promotes civic responsibility, community pride and fellowship.
