Geocache Description:

Rainbow trout are native to the rivers and streams flowing into the Pacific Ocean from the West Coast of North America. They have also been introduced across the globe, where they thrive in cold clear waters with good oxygen content. Rainbows are easy to recognize on account of the pink/red stripe along each side, with spots all over, though appearances vary between individuals.

They are a popular fishing target in Colorado, and in the Cache la Poudre River locally. You can try to catch some yourself at the beginning of this cache, and maybe along the way too.

The posted coordinates point to the first stage, where you will need to gather some information to determine the coordinates for the next stage. The second stage coordinates are: N 40° AB.CDE' W 105° FG.HIJ'

A = The number of tails on the upstream side
B = The number of whole entities on the downstream side minus one
C = The total number of heads minus two
D = The number of whole entities on the upstream side minus one
E = Total number of whole entities

F = The number of flows shown that are higher than 4500 cfs
G = The sum of the digits in the third highest flow
H = (The sum of the second and third highest flows) divided by 1000
I = The third digit of the second highest flow plus one
J = The first digit of the highest flow

Reaching the second stage will entail driving to a new location, and some easy hiking, the cache cannot be completed in town.
