O Museu Militar do Buçaco
O Museu Militar do Buçaco está localizado no lugar de Almas do Encarnadouro, na Serra do Buçaco, freguesia de Luso,Mealhada, Portugal. O museu foi fundado em 27 de Setembro de 1910, por altura do 1.º Centenário da Batalha do Buçaco, em homenagem à vitória do exército Anglo-Luso. Foi inaugurado pelo rei D. Manuel II. Em 1962 sofreu uma ampliação e remodelação.
O seu acervo é composto por peças militares do principio do Séc XIX, figuras uniformizadas, guiões e medalhas, material e equipamento diversos, uniformes, gravuras, relacionadas com a Guerra Peninsular em geral, e a Batalha do Buçaco, em particular. Destaque para uma peça de campanha de 9 libras que tomou parte na batalha e respectiva guarnição, evocações miniaturizadas e uma completa maquete mostrando as posições das forças em combate.
O edifício situa-se junto da Capela de Nossa Senhora da Vitória e Almas, que durante o período da batalha foi aproveitado pelos Frades Carmelitas Descalços, que tinham o seu convento ali próximo, para acolher um hospital de sangue, onde foram assistidos os feridos da batalha de ambos os exércitos, sem qualquer distinção.

Observações: Às Quartas é gratuito para crianças até aos 10 anos. Para os jovens dos 10 aos 18 anos e para os adultos com mais de 65 anos, a entrada tem o valor de 50 cêntimos.
Para além do Museu, podem ainda visitar-se outros monumentos militares, ali perto, como sejam o Obelisco comemorativo da Batalha (1873), o Moinho de Sula, posto de comando do General Craufurd, o Moinho de Moura, posto de comando do General Massena, Comandante das Forças Francesas e também o posto de comando do General Duque de Wellington, Comandante-em-Chefe do Exército Anglo-Luso.

The museum created and opened on September 27, 1910, during the commemoration of the first century of the Buçaco Battle and describes the bravery and the heroic deeds of the Anglo-Portuguese. It was officially opened in the presence of King D. Manuel II. In 1962 it was extended and reorganized.
Its collection consists of military pieces from the beginning of the 19th century, uniformed figures, scripts and medals, various material and equipment, uniforms, engravings related to the Peninsular War in general, and the Battle of Buçaco in particular. Attention for a 9 pound piece and respective garrison that was used in the battle, miniature depictions and a complete detailed scale model that shows the positions of the armies in combat.
The building is located next to the Chapel of Our Lady of Victory and Souls, which during the period of the battle was used by the Friar Barefoot Carmelites, who had their convent nearby, to host a hospital of blood, where they were assisted the wounded battle of both armies without distinction.

Observations: Wednesdays are free for children up to 10 years old. For youngsters from 10 to 18 years old and for adults over 65, the entrance has the value of 50 cents.
