Stetchworth is a small village and civil parish in East Cambridgeshire, 3 miles (5 km) to the south of the horse-racing centre of Newmarket and around 12 miles (19 km) east of Cambridge. The village sign shows the church of St Peter's which dates from at least the 13th century and is the oldest building in the village. There are records of a church in the village in the 12th century.
Also on the sign are a horseshoe and a pheasant - two representations of the local industry and wildlife:
If anybody would like to expand this series please do. I would just ask that you let Smokeypugs know first so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication
