Die Community Saalfeld / Rudolstadt / Pößneck wird in der Woche vor dem MEGA Cachen im Bratwurstland jeden Tag ein Event veranstalten, um schöne Plätze und Sehenswürdigkeiten den Cachern aus nah und fern näher zu bringen.

Heidecksburg Rudolstadt
Zu einen der prunkvollsten Barockschlössern im Land Thüringen gehört die Heidecksburg in Rudolstadt - gelegen auf einem Bergsporn. Das weithin sichtbare Schloss erhebt sich als Stadtkrone über die ehmalige Residenzstadt Rudolstadt. An die alte Burganlage aus dem 13. Jahrhundert erinnern nur noch die im Kellerbereich erhaltenen Gewölbe und Mauerreste. Als im Jahr 1735 die dreiflüglige Renaissance-Schlossanlage teilweise durch ein Feuer zerstört wurde, bot sich die Gelegenheit zu einem Neubau, der den neuen repräsentativen Anspruch der in den Fürstenstand erhobenen Schwarzburger demonstrieren sollte. Der regierende Fürst Friedrich Anton von Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt (1692-1744) holte den sächsischen Oberlandbaumeister Johann Christoph Knöffel (1686-1752) nach Rudolstadt, um ihn mit dieser Aufgabe zu betrauen. Seine Pläne sowie die nach 1737 erfolgte Ausführung lassen jenen kühlen Dresdner Spätbarock erkennen, der für diese Zeit in Sachsen typisch war. Die angespannte finanzielle Situation am Hof sowie Knöffels Verpflichtungen in Dresden, die es ihm unmöglich machten, die Bauarbeiten in Rudolstadt mit der nötigen Sorgfalt zu beaufsichtigen, führten schließlich dazu, dass der aus Weimar stammende Gottfried Heinrich Krohne (1703-1756) mit der Fortführung der Bauarbeiten betraut wurde. Wie schon durch Knöffel geplant, gruppierte Krohne beiderseits des Festsaales gelegene Räume zu geschlossenen Appartements. Er wandelte jedoch die kühle klassische Innenarchitektur ab und führte das heiter beschwingte Rokoko süddeutscher Prägung ein, das in dem durch zwei Geschosse führenden Festsaal am sinnlichsten zur Geltung kommt. An den Ausstattungsarbeiten der Räume waren namhafte Künstler beteiligt, unter ihnen der Stuckateur Jean Baptiste Pedrozzi (1710-1778), der die einzigartigen Stuckarbeiten im Festsaal und in den beiden Appartements ausführte sowie Lorenz Deisinger, der das Deckengemälde „Rat der Götter“ im Festsaal schuf. Die Supraportengemälde in den zeremomiellen Räumen stammen von Christian Wilhelm Ernst Dietrich (1712-1774) und Johann Ernst Heinsius (1731-1794). Die umfangreiche Kunstsammlung des Schlossmuseums ist in den ehemaligen fürstlichen Wohnräumen des Südflügels untergebracht. Gemälde und Mobiliar der Spätrenaissance, des Barock, Rokoko, Empire, Klassizismus und Biedermeier bis hin zum Historismus, sind in den entsprechenden historischen Räumen zu finden.
Informationen zum Event
Mit diesem Event möchten wir die Cachergemeinschaft aus nah und fern auf das tolle Gelände der Heidecksburg führen. Nehmt Euch vor dem Event einfach mal Zeit an einer Schlossführung teilzunehmen. Gern organisieren wir auf Wunsch eine Gruppenführung. Bitte gebt bei Eurem "Will Attend" mit an, ob ihr an einer Führung (Beginn 17:00 Uhr) interessiert seid und wenn ja mit wie vielen Personen ihr teilnehmen möchtet. Ich fertige parallel zu euren Rückmeldungen eine Tabelle an, die uns eine Übersicht gibt, wie viele Cacher an einer Führung interessiert sind. Bei mehr als 15 Interessenten (Stichtag: 15. April 2018) kümmere ich mich um eine Gruppenführung. Das Event startet dann 06:06 p.m. unter den schützenden Bäumen der Schlossanlage. Bis 19:00 Uhr liegt das Logbuch mindestens aus.
Wir freuen uns besonders darauf neue Cacher aber auch altbekannte Gesichter zu sehen.

Heidecksburg Rudolstadt
One of the most magnificent baroque palaces in the state of Thuringia is the Heidecksburg in Rudolstadt - located on a mountain spur. The castle, which can be seen from afar, rises as the crown of the city over the former residence city of Rudolstadt. The only remnants of the old castle complex from the 13th century are the vaults and remains of the walls in the cellar area. When in 1735 the three-winged renaissance palace complex was partially destroyed by fire, the opportunity presented itself for a new building, which was to demonstrate the new representative claim of the Schwarzburger raised to the rank of prince. The ruling Prince Friedrich Anton von Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt (1692-1744) brought the saxon master builder Johann Christoph Knöffel (1686-1752) to Rudolstadt to entrust him with this task. His plans and the execution after 1737 show the cool dresden late baroque, which was typical for saxony at that time. The tense financial situation at the court as well as Knöffel's obligations in dresden, which made it impossible for him to supervise the construction work in Rudolstadt with the necessary care, eventually led to the Gottfried Heinrich Krohne (1703-1756) from Weimar with the continuation of the construction work was entrusted. As already planned by Knöffel, Krohne grouped rooms on both sides of the ballroom into closed apartments. However, he changed the cool classic interior design and introduced the cheery swinging Rococo South German coinage, which comes in the leading two-storey ballroom most sensual. Renowned artists participated in the furnishing of the rooms, among them the plasterer Jean Baptiste Pedrozzi (1710-1778), who executed the unique stucco work in the ballroom and the two apartments, and Lorenz Deisinger, who created the ceiling painting "Rat der Götter" in the ballroom. The super portrait paintings in the ceremonial rooms are by Christian Wilhelm Ernst Dietrich (1712-1774) and Johann Ernst Heinsius (1731-1794). The extensive art collection of the castle museum is housed in the former princely living quarters of the south wing. Paintings and furniture from late renaissance, baroque, rococo, empire, classicism and biedermeier to historicism can be found in the corresponding historical rooms.

With this event we would like to guide the caching community from near and far to the great terrain of the Heidecksburg Rudolstadt Just take some time before the event gets started, to take part in a castle tour. If you are interested in a castle group tour, please note this information with your "Will Attend" (deadline: 15th of april). The guided tour takes place up to 15 persons. The tour starts at 5:00 p.m. The Event start at 6.06 p.m.
