Geocache Description:

Dan Brown and Indiana Jones Go Geocaching

Are you ready for a significant challenge? This is a mystery geocache quest that uses more than one puzzle. As is often the case in perplexing mysteries, you only see one layer at a time. So there's only one puzzle shown on this page, but once you enter into the decoding process, who knows what you will find...or not! Be prepared, like Dan Brown, to put in some time in pursuit of secret keys. Be wary of assumptions, for things are not always what they seem. You may have to travel around the world, sleuthing your way through arcane mysteries and several layers of decoding, or..... you may just sit in your armchair and have a briliant idea.

Once your inner Dan Brown does the decoding, his partner your inner Indiana Jones has to struggle with level 4 and 5 type terrain to retrieve the intermediate stage and the treasure at the end of the quest. However, if you're not highly athletic be not deterred: for mind can conquer where physique is weak. There is room for invention in all parts of this quest. (But, if you are not inventive, you may need climbing gear to get the final cache).

Having a general idea of the terrain in the realm of secret ciphers can help, but barring that, astute observation and a powerful intellect will part the figurative waters and reveal the secrets hidden below. Solve this puzzle below in order to find the second stage of the puzzle, a physical container which will provide the next clue.

Note that the first Certitude puzzle check is for puzzle seen here on this cache listing , giving coordinates for the intermediate or stage container. Finding this stage will take you to other steps and other puzzles (not shown here) which you'll need to solve in order to come up with final cache coords which you can then check against the second Certitude solution with the second link below.

Please when seeking the final geocache, do NOT manhandle the cache. I've had to replant the cache due to the original getting destroyed. Caches are designed to be retrieved w/ specialized TOTT.
