Op 30 november 2017 is op deze plek een GIGANTISCH kunstwerk geplaatst.
Het stelt een typisch Nederlands paartje voor. Althans, in de ogen van de vele buitenlandse bezoekers die onze regio graag komen bekijken.
Het Hollandse, 
kussende stel wordt op allerlei voorwerpen afgebeeld en is erg geliefd onder toeristen.
De XXXXXXXXXXXXL uitvoering ervan is nu te zien op de grens van Amsterdam en Zaanstad, bij de Hempont en het Noordzeekanaal.

Ivm veelvuldig rippen en werkzaamheden is de cache verplaatst: tel +34 bij Noord. Tel +20 bij Oost.

De plaatsen die bezocht worden door ons verliefde stel, zijn allemaal te vinden in de provincie Noord-Holland. De gemeentes Amsterdam en Zaanstad staan hierbij extra in het zonnetje, omdat het kussende tweetal daar tegenwoordig haar verblijfplaats heeft. A GIANT piece of art was placed on this location on the 30th of November 2017. It is called "The kissing couple XXL". The Dutch kissing couple is famous all over the world nowadays. The maker of the image is unknown. You can find the image of the two kissing Dutch farmers on mugs,t-shirts, cans and so on. The statue is placed on the border of the city's of Amsterdam and Zaandam, nearby the Hempont and the North sea-canal. You can travel between this two city's by the Hempont (ferry/ boat), this is for free if you are a pedestrian or a cyclist.
