Tato jednoduchá multicache má za úkol Vás provést převážně centrem malebného městečka Letovice a ukázat Vám pár zajímavostí při sbírání indicií. Historie Letovic sahá do hluboké minulosti, první obyvatelé zde žili už v pravěku. Na soutoku Svitavy a Křetínky postupně vyrostlo město. Dnešní Letovice mají své tři hlavní dominanty. První z nich je zámek, který nelze při průjezdu Letovicemi přehlédnout. Majestátně se tyčí na kopci a je vidět ze všech směrů již z dálky. Od roku 2004 je v rukou soukromého vlastníka, pana Bohumila Vavříčka. V období od května do října je možné zámek navštívit a důkladně si jeho interiéry prohlédnout. Další významnou stavbou je Klášter milosrdných bratří s kostelem sv. Václava. Klášter dnes slouží jako léčebna dlouhodobě nemocných a jeho chloubou je historická barokní lékárna (rovněž s možností prohlídky). Na protilehlém kopci pak stojí třetí významná dominanta Letovic, a to kostel sv. Prokopa. Zveme Vás tedy na menší špacír s několika zastaveními, při kterých se můžete kochat krásou města.

This simple multicache takes you through the center of the picturesque town of Letovice to show you some interesting things. The history of Letovice dates back to the deep past, the first inhabitants lived here in prehistory. At the confluence of rivers Svitava and Křetínka, the city gradually grew. Today's Letovice have its three main dominants. The first is a chateau that can not be overlooked when passing through Letovice. It towers majestically on a hill and can be seen from all directions from afar. Since 2004 he has been in the hands of a private owner, Mr. Bohumil Vavříček. From May to October, the castle can be visited and thoroughly inspected. Another important building is the Monastery of the Merciful Brothers with the Church of Sts. Wenceslas. Today, the monastery serves as a medical center for long-term patients and its pride is a historical baroque pharmacy (also with the possibility of sightseeing). On the opposite hill stands the third significant landmark of Letovice, namely the Church of St. Prokop. We invite you to a small walk with several stops where you can enjoy the beauty of the city.
