Welcome to the annual Eastern Cape camping weekend! This year will be a social gathering in the town of Port Alfred at Medolino Caravan park.
The weekend will be that of 2-4 March 2018 loaded with lots of opportunities to add some smileys to your map.
Medolino is really a tranquil park and one can sit under the trees next to the small lake for hours to relax and enjoy the country atmosphere and bird life. There are 21/22 large grassed camping sites with power points and most of them shaded under beautiful big trees. There are 3 ablution blocks which are always clean.
The focus of the weekend will be on socializing and relaxing, catching up with fellow geocachers. Although there will be loads of icons for you to turn into smileys, the events will be the ones not to miss.
Facilities:
Camping sites: 21/22 large grass camping sites with electricity points (attached is a map of the campsite)
Accommodation: Unfortunately no chalets are available, but you can speak to Anita @ Medolino Caravan Park if you would like to know about some places to stay.
Ablutions: 3 big, clean ablution blocks

Fees:
Camping: R90 per person/day.
Blue plugs: R150 refundable deposit
Braai wood: R25 per team payable to PumTim at the event

What to bring:
Bring own drinking water.
Bring own blue plugs for electricity (see picture in gallery). Limited amount available for hire.
Bring enough small change for the raffles.
Bring TBs and Geocoins.
