Uchon, surnommé La Perle du morvan, possède du caractère de par sa situation unique. Si vous parcourez ce territoire, vous rencontrerz le calme à travers les nombreux étangs entourés de forêts de feuillus, mais aussi la puissance à travers cette fois ses chaos granitiques impressionnants.

Uchon, nicknamed The Pearl of the Morvan, has character by its unique situation. If you roam this territory, you will encounter calm through the many ponds surrounded by deciduous forests, but also the power through this time its impressive granite chaos.
Les entités paysagères sont étroitement liées au relief. Ce dernier quant à lui, est dû au granite, omniprésent, modelé par l’eau, et les mouvements tectoniques. Ainsi, ce paysage aux formes arrondies résulte d’un subtil mélange de 3 éléments : le granite, l’eau et le temps.
Le massif granitique a subi des mouvements créant des failles. Les eaux d’infiltration sont responsables de l’arénisation. Les eaux de ruissellement ont déblayé ensuite les arènes. Le tracé des cours d’eau est souvent lié aux fractures. A hauteur d’Uchon, de part et d’autre de la vallée de l’Arroux, on retrouve le même type de granite dit à « biotite ».
Par ailleurs, l’histoire géologique du Morvan s’inscrit dans celle du Massif Central dont il constitue l’extrémité Nord Est.
A soil occupation linked to the basement
Landscape features are closely related to terrain. The latter is due to granite, omnipresent, shaped by water, and tectonic movements. Thus, this landscape with rounded forms results from a subtle mixture of 3 elements: granite, water and time.
The granite massif has undergone movements creating faults. Infiltration waters are responsible for arenisation. The runoff then cleared the arena. The course of watercourses is often linked to fractures. At the height of Uchon, on both sides of the Arroux valley, we find the same type of granite called "biotite".
In addition, the geological history of the Morvan is part of that of the Massif Central, of which it is the northeastern end.
