I like to knock out 5 miles of walking every day, and I thought I would share with you one of the routes I sometimes use.
Once I leave my neighborhood, I head north on Clayton Street. I continue up Clayton past Lone Mountain Road, and make a left turn when I reach Washburn Road. I stay on Washburn until I reach Simmons Street, where I make another left hand turn, and head south. I pass by Lone Mountain again, hang yet another left on Craig Road, and make my way eventually back to the house.
From my front door, up and around the loop, and back to my front door again, it's a little more than 3 miles, and it takes me just under an hour to make the trip. Your time and distance will vary, since you don't have to traverse my neighborhood.
If you want to Walk The Block, you can park your ride at the shopping center on the northwest corner of the Craig Road/Clayton Street intersection. You can collect the caches while you make a big loop, and you will end up back where you started.
Please try to re-hide the cache as good as (or better than) it was when you found it. Hopefully, that way the cache has a better chance of remaining active and in play.
