Hume is one of the ACT's industrial zones! And all industrial zones need a harbour. How else would they access shipping! Here you will find yourself at the end of a long mooring. The mooring itself stretches for a couple of 100 metres along the river edge, allowing vessels to securely tie on without fear of floating away. The mooring is constructed mostly of concrete blocks, and thick steel cable.
