Hello and welcome to the very first GeocacheME event cache hosted by Technical_13 (who's never been to an event and is quite excited to host one)!
This event will be held at the McDonald's restaurant on Bangor St. (routes 3, 9, 100, 201, and 202 ) in Maine's capital city of Augusta. I'm currently expecting the event to run from about 18:00 to 19:00 (6-7PM). Should be a great time chatting about caching and deciding how future events in the Augusta area should be run (location, duration, activities).
I'm really looking forward to meeting other cachers in the area. Please feel free to bring any trackables or collectables you'd like to share or trade. As the owner of many caches in the Augusta area, I'd be happy to answer any questions and give hints on finding my caches.
Another goal of mine during this event is to get more people hooked up with the Facebook and/or Discord groups or at least give everyone an opportunity to see how they work. :)
