O Centro de Interpretação do Sistema Espeleológico do Dueça (CISED) é uma infra-estrutura pensada e criada para promover e valorizar o território através da preservação e salvaguarda do ambiente enquanto principal riqueza social e económica.

Beleza, grandiosidade, espetacularidade, variedade, originalidade, tipicidade, genuinidade e pureza são apenas alguns dos adjetivos que podemos atribuir às paisagens calcárias. Em Sicó, onde o rio Dueça faz o seu traçado encontramos várias marcas características desta paisagem.
A “rocha nua, perfurada e lavrada em espetaculares campos de lapiás, as vertentes íngremes e pedrosas, associadas a profundos vales”, são algumas das formas que marcam a paisagem cársica desta região. Mas o mais incrível património natural encontra-se no mundo subterrâneo, onde as suas grutas e cavidades escondem um património espeleológico indescritível.
O sistema espeleológico do Dueça, encerra recursos naturais, ambientais e patrimoniais de elevado valor, a paisagem, a fauna e a flora e, sobretudo, as suas águas subterrâneas.

The Speleological Dueça System Interpretation Centre (CISED) is an infrastructure created and designed to promote and enhance this territory, through the preservation and protection of the environment as a major social and economic wealth.
The Speleological Dueça System
Beauty, magnificence spectacularity, variety, originality typicality, genuineness and purity are just some of the adjectives that can be attributed to karst landscapes. In Sicó, where the Dueça River makes its route, we find many features of this type of landscape.
The 'bare rock perforated and carved in spectacular limestone pavements fields, the steep slopes associated to deep valleys,' are some of the formations that mark the karst landscape of this region. But the most incredible natural heritage lies in the underworld, where its caves and holes hide a valuable speleological heritage.
The speleological Dueça system has incredible natural resources, a high valued environmental heritage and unique landscape, flora and fauna.

Esta cache foi criada com o intuito de vos dar a oportunidade de conhecerem uma das grutas mais emblemáticas do Sistema Espeleológico do Dueça (SED).
A visita a esta gruta requer ferramentas e competências especiais pelo que para se proceder à visita da mesma apenas poderá faze-lo com as devidas acreditações e habilitações, ou então com guias com as mesmas.
O CISED dando corpo aos seus objetivos tem capacidade de fazer visitas e guia-los pela a gruta garantindo também a informação científica relevante.
Em qualquer das opções escolhidas é sempre necessário contactar o CISED, por várias razões:
1) eles possuem a chave da entrada da mina;
2) por questões de segurança: a gruta pode sofrer inundações repentinas.
Como tal a cache e a visita poderão não estar visitáveis em alguns períodos do ano.
Caso pretenda fazer esta cache autonomamente: Poderá faze-lo se tiver o grau de nível III de espeleologia (nível da Federação Portuguesa de Espeleologia). A entrada não possuirá qualquer custo associado. Um grupo até 8 pessoas poderá acompanha-lo, sem qualquer custo associado, à sua responsabilidade.

Esta cache é uma multi-cache. Para se chegar ao local de entrada na gruta é preciso na coordenada inicial identificar o tipo de edifício que se encontra à vossa frente. Depois ao entrar na gruta basta seguir o enigma até o container final.

“Ela encontra-se dentro da gruta após o acesso à sala dos Catos e antes da sala do Caos. Vão encontrar um patamar à esquerda a cerca de 1,5 metros de altura, ela encontra-se nesse patamar.”

This geocache was created with the goal in mind of giving you an opportunity to visit one of the most emblematic cave of the Speleological Dueça System (SED).
The visit to this cave require special tools and skills, with that in mind you can only visit it if you have the require habilitations to do it so, or with the company of a specialized guide.
CISED embodying its own goals have the capacity to make the tour and guide you through the cave providing relevant scientific information.
Whatever the option you choose you must always contact CISED, for various reasons:
1) they are the ones with the key to access the cave;
2) for safety issues: the cave can be flooded.
So the geocache and visit may not be visitable all the year.
In case you want to go by yourself: You can do it if you have the level III os speleology (Portuguese Speleological Federation). The entrance will have no associated cost in this case. A group till 8 people can go with you with no cost associated and at your own responsability.

This geocache is a multi-cache. To discover the entrance to the cave you need to go to thepublish coordenate and identify the building in front of you. When you get inside the cave just follow the riddle to find the container inside.
