A nano near the village sign that welcomes people into the western end of Long Ashton . There is an indentical village sign at the eastern end too, with a (non VS) cache already there!
This also happens to be the first Village Sign in Somerset- but only just, as the border with Bristol (a county in its own right) is less than two miles away!
This cache is on Weston Road at the western end of Long Ashton. A new (modern) council village sign has been put up right in front of it, but luckily the original still stands.
If anybody would like to expand this series please do. I would just ask that you let Smokeypugs know first so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
