Well, we had a good 5+ year run on this one, but I guess it's over.
I can't figure it out--especially the comment about it showing back
up when removed, because this is the first time it's been removed.
And cacher after cacher remarked on how friendly the security guard
was. My guess is the guard moved on and was replaced by someone
with no sense of humor...or adventure. Oh well...
*********************************************************** Since I
enjoy visiting caches when I travel on business, I wanted to place
a cache within easy reach of the hotel-bound, car-less visitor to
Denver. This can easily be reached on foot from all the downtown
hotels (and from outlying hotels if you can use the RTD to get
downtown).
This is a small cache. To help it blend into its
surroundings, the cache container is a small electrical outlet box,
placed so that a casual observer would likely assume that it's
supposed to be there (urban camouflage). Once you find the box it
will be obvious that it was added--DO NOT open any "real"
electrical boxes! Initial contents included a mini-flashlight, a
bottle of bubbles (from a wedding), a hotel key card from the
Stratosphere Hotel in 'Vegas, and something else I've
forgotten.
Although the cache is in plain sight, I think you'll find that
its location is pretty unusual--think outside the box.
