💣 15 Years of Terror 💥
Fifteen years ago I was wondering how GPS actually works and read about it on a German website. Today you can still access this site. Fancy that! On there was another section "what else to do with GPS" and the link www.kowoma.de/gps/spiele/geocaching.htm which sparked my interest. Times were different and so was cache density. This meant that my closest cache to home was very close - only 5km! Of course I looked for the Hugo Schatz and from the 7.7.2003 on I had another excuse for procrastinating from my studies. Keep in mind procrastination wasn't even a thing in 2003! Check out my very first log 👍
Three-thousand found, over 350 hidden caches and one dead Lex later I still get the blame for a lot of evil in the geocaching world. Some things will never change. Some things did change and you can read about it in the Geocaching Melbourne blog.
The Event 🍺
Now come along for chat about the good old time, meet old and new friends and let's have a couple of drinks together. Feel free to bring along friends, family or random strangers from the street. Hopefully in another 15 years we can celebrate the 30 years reign of terror.
I think that's about it so see you there ;o)
Adventure is out there
Cheers 🍻
