Geocache Description:

Once upon a time, there was a nice, pretty little calf, called Daisy. One sad day she wandered away from the herd, through a gate that someone had carelessly left open, over a little bridge and got lost! There were four farmers nearby, each of whom thought they knew where Daisy would have gone. Your mission is to discover which farmer is correct, then travel to the co-ordinates to rescue Daisy.

Meet the farmers:

Farmer George thinks Daisy has gone to N51 35.318 W001 21.772
Farmer Cathy prefers N51 35.470 W001 21.779
Farmer Joe suspects the hiding place is at N51 35.181 W001 21.398
Farmer Martha says that Daisy has gone to hide at N51 35.950 W001 21.281

To help you decide, here are some clues. The farmer left at the end can be trusted.

1) Complete this wordsearch and then use the left over letters to help you rule out one farmer:

2) Crossword time. The letters in the highlighted boxes spell another Farmer who is wrong:

4) A vehicle farmers use to plough fields. (7)
6) A small, fluffy animal, which farmers do not want in their crops. (6)

2) Long necked, noisy birds that farmers keep to guard their farm yard. (5)
3) Medium-sized, horned animal that eats anything! (4)
5) A crop farmers grow, which makes cereal. (4)

3) Which letters of the alphabet are not in the rectangle? They make the last wrong farmer's name. It isn't Farmer:

By now, you should have enough information to help you go to where Daisy is hiding and rescue her. Good luck!

The Little Bridges series was started by Stanthews in 2009 to highlight small footbridges in remote parts of Wiltshire. Since then the series has been expanded by others all over the country and starting to spread fast, Damian from Winter Foxes has created and updates a list of cachers who has found 10 or more little bridges and can be found here, if you would like to add to the series, please contact Stan on stanthews@aol.com and he will give you a number for your bridge, to qualify, the bridge must be a foot bridge too small for vehicles, please make sure your title exactly matches “Little Bridges # xx then name” including spaces so it will get picked up and added to Damian’s list.
