Geocache Description:

One of a series of mystery caches forming Geo-art of Tasmania

Australia's most southern coastline is also the country's most unspoilt. No roads lead to this beautiful, untouched and often wild region. South Cape Bay lies at the southern tip of Tasmania, bordering on the Southern Ocean. It has views of South East Cape, the most southern point of all. A walking track runs from Cockle Creek to South Cape Bay. This track is one of Tasmania’s Great Short Walks.  The road south to Cockle Creek is long and winding. Sections are unsealed, including everything south of Ida Bay. For residents of Hobart, the 148 km distance will take a minimum of two hours’ driving time one way. For anyone farther north, add the time needed to drive into and through Hobart. South Cape Bay lies within the Southwest National Park, so visitors will need a current National Parks Pass.

However, at the end of this fantastic walk is a cache, “Can you hear Waves Crashing?” Yet another Queenslander CO.  At present, it is the most southern GC in Australia and well and truly worth the walk.  We have been there at least twice; our Queensland friends just can’t resist it.

The cache is not at the listed coordinates, you will need to unscramble/decode or ignore the following puzzle to find GZ.

Cape (3131)

What is a cape?

It can be a sleeveless garment of various lengths, fastened around the neck falling loosely from the shoulders, worn separately or attached to a coat or other outer garment.

Or

A piece of land jutting into the sea or some other large body of water.

I think you know which one we are talking about!
