Medicineman is a charter member of Geocaching and as of the date of this placement he has found over 2000 caches and he has hidden 175 caches. Most of his hides have been varied and fun Mysteries. These include the Historical Marker variety, cemeteries and other creative puzzles of great diversity and difficulty. I have very much enjoyed the Historical marker variety and the cemeteries but many others have left me fully perplexed. The historical marker series are fun in that you get to learn about local history and about places and events and even local notable people. When I travel to Paris I will check to see if there is a Historical Marker for Blaise de Vigenere (1523-1596), a man very familiar to many geocachers, at his burial place at the Saint-Etienne-du-Mont church.
