CLUBE DE GEOCACHING
NA ESCOLA SECUNDÁRIA DE LAGOA
Foi constituído recentemente, na Escola Secundária de Lagoa, o Clube de Geocaching, resultante de uma proposta do Conselho Executivo desta Escola.
Este Clube apareceu no seguimento dos vários projectos do Plano Anual de Actividades, sobre Geocaching, realizados, com assinalável sucesso, nos últimos quatro anos. Este Clube tem como entidades parceiras, a Câmara Municipal de Lagoa e o Expolab.
Podemos encontrar no Regulamento do Clube, que as suas finalidades e objectivos, são a promoção da ocupação dos tempos livres dos alunos de uma forma lúdica que permita um desenvolvimento harmonioso da sua vida pessoal e escolar, especificamente: pensar a escola como um lugar de desafios pessoais; possibilitar aos alunos conhecimentos a respeito do jogo mundial de aventuras - o Geocaching, incentivando nestes o gosto pela descoberta e prazer pelo conhecimento; dar a conhecer aos alunos outros locais deste arquipélago e desta ilha; fomentar o respeito pela natureza, património e meio ambiente, contribuindo para uma atitude mais responsável e participativa relativamente à conservação do meio ambiente, natureza e património; desenvolver conhecimentos e capacidades relativas à orientação e utilização das novas tecnologias e também, em particular das tecnologias de comunicação multimédia; interligação/articulação com várias disciplinas, em particular, mas não somente, dos cursos: Técnico Profissional de Gestão Ambiental e Turismo; fomentar o conhecimento e uso de "tecnologias de ponta", nomeadamente: pens universais, chirps, Impressoras 3D,...; desenvolver capacidades e atitudes nos jovens estudantes, de forma a contribuir para a mudança de mentalidades; dar a conhecer o "potencial turístico" deste "jogo de aventuras"; interligação/articulação com as disciplinas de Ciências Naturais/Geologia, na abordagem das "Earthcaches"; fomentar a divulgação da Ciência relacionada com: " Exploração Espacial" e “Inteligência artificial”; desenvolver atividade física, nomeadamente na exploração de trilhos e desenvolver a criatividade e as capacidades artísticas, em particular nas actividades manuais relativas à construção de “caches e seus containers”.
Nos últimos quatro anos foram realizados, anualmente, os projectos Plano Anual de Actividades (PAA), respectivamente: Geocaching e Turismo (2016/2017); Geocaching e Ciência (2015/2016), Geocaching – Um Jogo de Aventuras (2014/2015) e Geocaching – Uma Aventura (2013/2014). Nestes projectos participou um número muito significativo de alunos, em várias e diversificadas natividades que englobaram diversas áreas científicas e de “saber”. Estes projectos têm tido o apoio de diversas entidades.
Este Clube destina-se a alunos desta Escola, com interesse nesta área podendo os pais/encarregados de educação, destes alunos, participar e colaborar nas actividades do Clube, através dos seus filhos/educandos. De realçar que as turmas dos Cursos Profissionais de Técnico de Turismo Rural e Ambiental e de Técnico de Gestão Ambiental, terão um grande envolvimento nas actividades deste Clube.

De segunda a quinta-feira, das 08H30 às 18H00.
Sexta-feira, das 08H30 às 12H00.
Sábdos e domigos: encerrado.
A CACHE:
A cache tem um formato não convencional e situa-se em local autorizado pela entidade competente
(pela Câmara Municipal de Lagoa).
Deverá levar material de escrita.

GEOCACHING CLUB
IN THE SECONDARY SCHOOL OF LAGOA
The Geocaching Club was recently established at Lagoa High School, resulting from a proposal from the Executive Council of this School.
This Club appeared in the wake of the several projects of the Annual Plan of Activities, on Geocaching, carried out, with remarkable success, in the last four years. This Club has partner entities, the City Hall of Lagoa and Expolab.
We can find in the Club Regulations that its aims and objectives are to promote the leisure activities of students in a playful way that allows a harmonious development of their personal and school life, specifically: to think of the school as a place of challenge personal; enable students to learn about the world game of adventures - Geocaching, encouraging in them the taste for discovery and pleasure for knowledge; to make known to the students other places of this archipelago and of this island; foster respect for nature, heritage and the environment, contributing to a more responsible and participatory attitude towards the conservation of the environment, nature and heritage; to develop knowledge and skills relating to the orientation and use of new technologies and also in particular of multimedia communication technologies; interconnection / articulation with several disciplines, in particular, but not only, of the courses: Professional Technician of Environmental Management and Tourism; to promote the knowledge and use of "advanced technologies", namely: universal pens, chirps, 3D printers, ...; develop skills and attitudes in young students, in order to contribute to the change of mentalities; to make known the "tourist potential" of this "adventure game"; interconnection / articulation with the disciplines of Natural Sciences / Geology, in the "Earthcaches" approach; promote the dissemination of Science related to: "Space Exploration" and "Artificial Intelligence"; to develop physical activity, in particular in the exploration of rails and to develop the creativity and the artistic capacities, in particular in the manual activities related to the construction of "caches and their containers".
In the last four years, the Annual Activity Plan (PAA) projects have been carried out, respectively: Geocaching and Tourism (2016/2017); Geocaching and Science (2015/2016), Geocaching - A Game of Adventures (2014/2015) and Geocaching - An Adventure (2013/2014). In these projects participated a very significant number of students, in several and diversified nativities that encompassed several scientific areas and "know". These projects have been supported by several entities.
This Club is intended for students of this School with an interest in this area and parents / guardians of these students can participate and collaborate in the activities of the Club through their children. It should be noted that the classes of the Professional Courses of Rural and Environmental Tourism Technician and Technician of Environmental Management Technician will have a great involvement in the activities of this Club.
SCHEDULE:
From Monday to Thursday, from 08h30 to 18h00.
Friday, from 08h30 to 12h00.
Saturdays and Sundays: closed.
THE CACHE:
The cache has an unconventional format and is located in a location authorized by the appropriate authority
(by the Municipality of Lagoa).
