This is a pretty simple hide, once you find the beacon it should be quick and easy. No room for a pencil, but there is room for very small items.
I spent a lot of time here about a year ago and came through the area for the first time since. Regardless of any thoughts you may have for the actions that took place here, take some time to appreciate the natural beauty of the area. I've included a photograph I took a year ago that I think highlights that beauty while still showing the scars.
