Information needed for calculating each cache’s final location needs to be collected in Wallingford town centre. All the physical caches are out of the centre of Wallingford (within 2miles of given coordinates) in a more rural setting affording great views of South Oxfordshire. They can be collected together in a walk of around 2.5-3 miles. As such, these caches are not suitable for cache and dash seekers.
Parking waypoints for Wallingford and a layby suitable for 2 (maybe 3) cars useful for collecting the caches are included on CM11201 Mary-le-More GC7D0RH .
The Catholic Church of St Joh the Evangelist was originally built in 1798 for the Congregationalists, on the site of a previous meeting house (the congregation meeting in the Town Hall while it was rebuilt). The congregationalists disbanded in 1881, and the building was used by the YMCA, the Envangelisation Society and for "undenominational" services, before being auctioned off in 1905, after which it was temporarily used for storage by a local tradesman. It was reopened as a Catholic church in 1920, and rebuilt in the 1950s, with further changes in the 1990s.
From the given coordinates:
Enquires by phone should be made to 01235 ABCDEF
To the north of the main door there are G rings in the floor
The cross above the main door in black bricks is HJ bricks high
The cache can be found at N51 3(H+J).(A+B)BH W001 0(C+D).GB(G-E)
As a checksum, all digits in the coordinates add to 44
