Welcome to GC7CYN4 GoMRT's Paradise, a 3 stage multi-cache. Please be prepared for terrain and weather conditions typical with this part of the Rocky Mountains. Due to safety concerns, please do not attempt the cache during periods of rain, snow, or ice. Note the listed attributes.
During my geo-travels across the continent, I have seen many "tribute caches" placed to honor a geocacher. I have always thought about placing some tribute caches, but in the end, decided against it. In my opinion, a proper tribute cache would require something special that captures the essence of the named geocacher’s geo-personality. This can be a difficult and time intensive task. For example, I can think of at least one cacher I considered doing a tribute cache for. In his case, to do it right; I would have to make a placement with a 3000 ft elevation gain, use a broken container, figure out how to keep the log damp, place allot of misspellings in the cache description, make you climb a cliff with one hand tied behind your back while taunting others to keep up, and somehow change the D/T rating for every cacher to whatever they needed for the fizzy challenge. That just seemed like too much work.
Your hunt for this cache begins at one of the two listed parking coordinates. Each coordinate can accommodate one vehicle, with conditions less than optimal. Once your vehicle is secured, proceed to the posted coordinates on foot.
The cache consists of a hidden container at the posted coordinates, a hidden waypoint, and the final. Although the total distance is not significant, some will find the terrain challenging. Some climbing will be required, but special skill or equipment is not needed. Expect degraded GPS accuracy.
Enjoy the hunt.
