Cape Town has been a Pleasure Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

db3034: Many thanks to those that were able to attend on what I appreciate was a work day, which limited attendees. Thanks for the warm reception - far warmer than the reception at home here in the UK - especially as the gas boiler stopped working, so we have no heating and cannot get a new one fitted until November 17th - wishing we were back in the sunshine.

Geocache Description:

After a long road trip from Victoria Falls to Cape Town I am holding a short event before heading off home to winter in the United Kingdom.  I thought while we are waiting to go to the airport for the evening it would be good to have the chance of meeting any local cachers, or visitors like me, that can make this event.

The event will be in close proximity to the newly published virtual cache - so an excuse to grab that if you have not already done so.  I am planning to be on the seats either in the open or under cover, if the weather is inclement, that can be found close to the Cecil John Rhodes Statue in Company's Gareden from 1100 hours until 1130 hours on Monday, 23rd October 2017.

I look forward to seeing anyone that is available and can make the event.
